Step 1

we begin with a client appointment either in person or virtually to discuss what the client is interested in commissioning.  any inspiration, be it a photo, object, written word, or memory that can be supplied before the first meeting is very helpful and recommended as is getting a sense of the general budget of the client.  at this first meeting we like to go through styles of settings, cuts of stones, and color of gold

Step 2

the next step will involve us sourcing the appropriate stone(s) for the commission.  depending upon the rarity of the stone(s) this can take anywhere from a few days to a few months.

once we have sourced a few options for the client we will present the options along with the different total cost for the commissioned piece using each one.

Step 3

once a stone or stones have been settled upon, eva will come up with a maximum of three different designs for the client to choose from.  before we can share the proposals, we will need a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 which can be deducted from the final cost of the commission.

Step 4

the client will then go over the three proposals, pick the one they like best and suggest whatever modifications that they would like.  eva will then refine the design to their specifications as she sees best.once the design of the piece has been confirmed, a minimum 50% deposit will be taken to commence production of the piece.

Step 5

production time for bespoke pieces is dependent upon the intricacy of the item but will generally take 10-12 weeks to complete.

once the piece has been completed by our jewelers and eva has looked it over to make sure it adheres to her standards it will be presented to the client.  at this time the remainder of the balance will be due.
